Donae Burston

Founder and CEO, Donae Burston has a lot to celebrate. The company started 2022 with a bang by welcoming NBA great Chris Paul as an equity partner. La Fête made history in spring 2021 by becoming the first Black and minority-owned business that Constellation Brands (the parent company to Corona, Svedka, and Modelo) ever invested in.

Dontae passed his good fortune along by making a $25 million dollar donation to two of his passion projects, @colorofchangeand@rootsfund, two important causes that fight for racial injustice and securing pathways for the BIPOC community in wine through financial support, mentorship, and job placement opportunities. The initial goal was to donate at least $15,000, but they donated $25,000 thanks to loyal customers.
