Santa Barbara - When making Intercept Pinot Noir we target vineyard sites in Santa Barbara that benefit from cool foggy mornings from the Pacific marine layer and warm afternoons. Fermented in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation and aging done in barrels. Aged in French and Eastern European oak (30% new) for 14 months. TASTING NOTESGarnet in color, with aromas of strawberry, pastry cream, and nutmeg. This wine is medium-bodied with dusty fine-grained tannins and a long juicy finish. Enjoy with grilled salmon, braised duck, or stuffed Portobello mushrooms.ABV: 15.3%

Charles Woodson Intercept Wine

My love of wine happened organically while in Napa Valley for training camp when I was playing for the Oakland Raiders early in my career. There I developed a great appreciation for wine and the people around it. As my career went along, more of us players started getting into wine. On road trips, we would bring bottles and break bread together. It was an experience that bonded us.
